Lot 262.  Stadium Seat from the Montreal Forum, Home of the Canadiens. From 1924-96, the Forum was the home for the heroics of Aurel Joliat, Howie Morenz, Rocket Richard, Toe Blake, Doug Harvey, Jean Believeau, Jacques Plante, Bernie Geoffrion, Guy Lafleur, Patrick Roy and other Montreal Canadiens players. In that time, they won the Stanley Cup 19 times. They played their final game at the Forum in 1996. The seat, labeled “9D,” was among those auctioned in March 1996. Lot 263.  Rare Original Pittsburgh Hornets Hockey Pennant. This 8 ½” x 26” pennant from the 1961-67 Pittsburgh Hornets features great graphics and the colorful logo of a hornet on skates, hockey stick in hand. Rare, very desirable and ex-m+.

Lot 264.  11 1940s-50s Anonymous 8” x 10” B&W Premium Hockey Photos. The SCD 2007 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards has begun a checklist of the baseball premium photos issued by an unknown source in the 1940s and 1950s. Whether these photos are part of the issue is uncertain. We are unaware of a checklist. These photos have blank backs and white borders. Some are numbered, and some are not. Some have the player’s name on the front, and some do not. Hall of Fame players are in bold. The following are numbered: #5 Maurice Richard (Name on Front=NoF), 10 Jack Crawford, 11 Pat Egan, 52 Sid Abel, 70 Turk Broda (NoF), 75 Syd Howe, 90 Jackie Hamilton (NoF) and 132 Bun Cook. These two, which are not numbered, have the player’s name on the blade of his stick: Max Bentley, Toe Blake (Rice Studios photo). Another photo shows Ed Kullman. About one-third of these photos have inoffensive corner impressions from an album. They average ex.

Lot 265.  Enviromint Hockey All-Star, World Cup Silver Commemoratives. Two silver cards, each containing 3 troy ounces of .999 pure silver, commemorate the 1993 NHL All-Star Game in Detroit. The Prince of Wales card contains images of Jagr, Mario Lemieux, Stevens, Bourque, Roy and Leetch. Brett Hull, Yzerman, Bure, Chelio, Belfour and Coffey are the Campbell Conference stars. Each card is mint in the original holder with some oxidation around the edges. The 1996 World Cup of Hockey is the subject of two silver medallions, each made from an ounce of silver. Both have the World Cup logo on the back. Mike Richter is shown on the front of one medallion, and the USA logo on the front of the other. Mint. The eight troy ounces of silver have a value of more than $100.
