Lot 250. 12 Signed Hockey Photos Including Richard, Beliveau, Cournoyer, Clarke, Dionne. Photos are 8” x 9” or larger unless noted. Maurice Richard heads the list of Hall of Fame forwards who signed these photos. The Rocket’s autograph is on a black & white photo in which he holds the puck for his 500th goal. The other HoF signers are Jean Beliveau, Jean Beliveau & Yvan Cournoyer, Bob Clarke (2 different) and Marcel Dionne. Other photos carry the signatures of Benoit Brunet (2), Dave Lowrey (2), Brian Popp (3” x 5 ½”, personalized) and Mark Recchi. Four photos, including one each of Brunet, Clark, Popp and Recchi, have creases. The autographs are predominantly 10s with some 9s. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 251. Rare 1964-65, 1965-66 Media Guides for the AHL Pittsburgh Hornets. Before the NHL Penguins, Pittsburgh’s hockey fortunes rested with the Hornets. Each media guide consists of about 38 typed, stapled pages with such information as team officials, the roster, previous season records and historical team leaders. The guides also provide a brief biographical sketch of each player. Vic Stasiuk coached the 1964-65 team. Players included Hank Bassen, Lowell MacDonald, Claude LaForge and Andre Pronovost. Ex.
